HitMan was into music since a young child. His father, Bradley Jackson Sr., influenced him. He used to listen to his father rap, and say, I wanna be just like my dad.
HitMan's first goal was to become a rapper, he grew up on A Tribe Called Quest, De La Soul, and The Native Tongue Movement. He liked their music...he wanted to mimic their sound, but at the time Hip-Hop was at a different level, the Pete Rock, DJ Premier, Dilla sound was gone. Crunk music was the jam then.
He was writing raps, but he didn't have his own beats. One day, he goes to his Uncle's house, and this changed his life. They were playing a beat making game, called MTV Music Generator 3. He started making somewhat original beats. One day he was messing around with a section on the game called "RIPPER". He could use samples on the game!!
He made a whole lot of beats on that game but there was no way to put them on disc. He was going around on SoundClick, he realized that everyone was using FL Studios and Adobe Audition. He got both programs and that's how he makes his beats today.
He plans on rapping again soon, but for now...he's going to see where this production thing takes him!!
