The future is perfect and the future is Razor. Making music since the age of 13, Razor musical skills have developed into a new sound that will change music forever. Inspired by rappers Ludacris, Jay-Z, Kanye West and rock bands Velvet Revolver, Limp Bizkit, and Papa Roach; He makes it clear that he’s a all around songwriter not at rapper. Although, most of his songs are Hip-Hop driven, some have a Rock/Alternative edge to them. The songs “When You’re A Star” and “It’s On” were derived from the songs “Cars” by Gary Numan and “Song 2” by Blurr. The ability to be openly creative and innovate the past are abilities that will make his future perfect.
Razor has given and invested his entire life into music. He spends every minute of everyday thinking, writing and breathing music. Outside of that, Razor doubles as a DJ and is the man behind most G.F.E.’s mixtapes and performance master mixes. He’s been recording since 2007 for what is his upcoming debut album ‘Future Perfect’ that will be released in 2008, his chance to leave an impression on the world. He says the title ‘Future Perfect’ means that “the album is the standard for the future of music and that from that point on his future will be perfect”.
As a part of Grind Forever Entertainment his summer of 2008 was spent doing indie class performances along with the rest of the label in order to promote the upcoming mixtapes and albums. However, on September 2, 2008 his plans changed and it will lead him on a new journey. Razor alongside of rapper/musician Head G, rapper/dancer Jabo, rapper/singer Foolish, and rapper/freestyle artist Yung Ron have come together to form the group Ryde or Die.
The name Ryde or Die is self-explanatory and their goal is to take the music industry by storm, one listener at a time. After canceling all of their individual projects expect ‘Ready 2 Ryde: The Mixtape Volume 1’ to release by the end of 2008. Also, be on the look out for the 1st single “Steppin’ On My Shoes” and follow-up single “7 Days”.
