Darnelle Dollarz was born Darnelle Harvey January on 26th 1990 in Poughkeepsie,New York.As A Child He Moved All Over..Virginia(Roanoke,Richmond)New York(Poughkeepsie,Brooklyn,Bronx,Harlem)..He stayed downsouth in Virginia for 6 years living with his father in Roanoke,VA.He began rapping at the age of 11 where he started to perfect his style. At age 13 he meant fellow artist Donte Preston :Yung Sty: an they did several songs featured on local mixtapes. They started the group H.B.E-HardBody ENT..then going by the name FINESSE..Dollarz achieved minor sucess as a rapper dropping mixtapes an being featured on several local artists mixtapes an albums..More recently the group expanded to three members adding Yung G-Joesph Reid as the 3rd member..all 3 can be heard on various mixtapes "Da Streets Talking Vol.1" & "Black N Mild" etc..During this time he also meant fellow artist Six Sense-Darrell Wither & O-Rig-Kahlif Walker(The Crusades) an built a strong relationship with both of them..Through them he meant A.N.O-Ramon Terry(Rapper/Producer)..who produced various tracks for The Crusades Album an would eventually produce for Dollarz...He Also Meant Imperial Productions head The Future :Tavon Crawford:..An With The H.B.E Click in sort of a sleep mode due to various things (i.e arrests, jail time, miscommunication) Dollarz decided to do his own thing..He began working on his album orgianlly titled Handlin Buisness..an still going by the name FINESSE...he recorded his first album tracks at The Bachelor Pad Studios..while also working on another mixtape "Step Yo Game Up Vol.1"...his sucess was short lived..he was incacerated for robbery charges shortly after he began working on his album..he was released 2 days later to his fathers custody..later on that same month he was arrested again for possesion at school..an was expelled..he then attened Noel C Taylor for the remainder of the year..shortly after that his father was diagonosed with renal diease an was admitted to the hopsital for 2 weeks..failing to make ends meet..him an his father where evicted from there house..both decided to move back to New York..Dollarz decided that it was time for change..His name went from Finesse to Darnelle Dollarz..a combination of his real name an what he stands for..an also the title of his album changed from Handlin Buissness to The Withdrawl...He decided to scrap 9 of the 14 tracks from his previous album an start over the recording process..the reason why is because he felt he wanted to deliver a different message that what his album was turing out to produce...Now currently working on his debut solo album "The Withdrawl"..Dollarz seems more determined than ever..the album will be 14 tracks featuring various artist..with production from himself,The Future,O-Rig,Mq Productions,A.N.O,A Boogie an many more...The Album is scheduled for release early next year (1st Quater)..In a recent interview Dollarz was asked "Whats is the motivation behind your music?" he replied,"Motivation?..Life..This Is My Grind..I ve Been Through Alot You Kno..So To Come This Far An To Fail Is Not A Option..Its My Time..Regardless Of Who Is Wearing The Watch..I Dont Care..I Want This More Than Anything..An I'll Do Anything To Get It".
