The greatest rapper Flint, Michigan has ever bred was born Alonte Walker on August 19th, 1988. His mother was a hard working songstress while his father was a hustler. Those two created the man known as Mac Milli, a 18 yr old icon to hip hop. "Growing up in the hood aint easy. I don't care what nobody says. Try staying in Flint, a city that's set up for you to fail. After 10 years then holla at me about that" says Mac Milli. "I grew up with my grandparents because my mother was always working and my father was selling drugs and he came around once in awhile to buy me new shoes and give me insight that I wouldn't understand until I was older, and considering I was so hyper as a child my grandparents couldn't really keep me interested so the streets became my home during the day" reminisces Mac Milli. Mac experimented with different things during his life. Through drug dealing, gang life, basketball, and football, the only thing that really kept him interested was music. "I was so in love with music that music became me; I found myself rhyming in everyday conversations and to this day I can't go a day without listening to music." After getting into some trouble in his hometown of Flint; Mac Milli, his mother, and little sister moved to Chatsworth California, where Mac began to record on a consistent basis. After 2 years of improvement, an untouched battle record, advice from personal friend Sticky Fingaz, a slight name change, 5 mixtapes, and two full length self released albums, Mac had something to prove. He introduced his fluid-like flow, the charismatic, arrogant delivery, in your face punchlines, witty lyrics to the world after releasing his mixtape I'd Hate Me Too Vol.1:Let The Hatred Begin. He also has one of the largest fanbase in Bedrocc (Flint Michigan) behind him. This is why Mac Milli appointed himself the King Of Bedrocc. "I pretty much became who I am musically from who I am personally, in reality I'm very cocky (laughs), and I'm very animated which kinda gives me my swag. Plus growing up in the hood allows me to speak to the streets and the people in the struggle because I'm right there with them. There are people who disagree with the way I say things, but they aint paying me a damn thing so why should I care? That's why I'm the King Of Bedrocc, because other artists are trying too hard to fit in and they aint being themselves, and when I say I'm the King or I'm the best it's not because I feel I'm better than anyone but every artist should feel that way, because any artist who doesn't believe in their talent 100% will never make it."Mac also has a major buzz on myspace he has been the #1 Rap Artist in Flint for since december.
